Play sand game is a challenged activity for your toddler. In the previous story I share how the toddler is very enthusiastic play with sand. Play with sand gives different adventure and another outdoor experience for the toddler. Many parents realize that this kind of outdoor toddler games could give positive impact for their toddler development. Some of variations have been created to enliven this game. There is a build a sand castle, jump on the sand, crawl on the sand, dig and form, etc.

I have idea to make a variation by use car toy or other toy own by your toddler that can move on the sand. The toy car should have off road wheels and have enough strong power to crawl and move on the sand. It will be fund if you use remote control (R/C) type. I play with Tamiya Sand Scorcher cars to do this.

Many of toddlers love this toy. This toy came up with many models such as: Sand Scorcher 2010 2WD Off-Road Racer, 1/10 Toyota Land Cruiser 40 Kit, Lunch Box Kit (1/12), etc. This toy is very easy found at toy store or you can buy online at Amazon.com

First — together with your toddler build little sand circuit. You can ask him/her to make sand mounds to make this game more interesting.

After finish you put the car on the sand. Ask him to do this. Easily you move the car to another place and ask you toddler to catch it. After the toddler catch it, ask him to bring it to you. Repeat this activity game and add some accelerate to the car when your toddler tries to catch it. You toddler will be curious and will chasing it. Your toddler will be proud and glad when the car could not move it anymore because your toddler has caught it. Please don’t forget to give spontaneous applause for your toddler

Some time when you are not at home with your lovely toddler, he is bored but you forgot to bring his toy.  Relax, Mom or Dad you can uses your Blackberry to make the toddler happy and smile. Toddler use  the senses to know his/her surrounding environmental. This toddler game relies on two important senses: hearing and vision. Hidden voice makes enthusiastic toddler looking for. (for ages 24-30 months)

Preparation:

* Toys that sounds like a music box. May also music from a cassette / CD.
* Outdoor play.

How to play:

1. Ring the music from the music box. Hide in one area child playroom.
2. Invite a toddler into the room. Ask him to find the toy by hearing his voice.
3. When the child had found, give him praise.
4. Invite a toddler out of the room. Hide music box in different places.
5. Give your child a toy hidden opportunity that sound, you are looking for replacement.
6. For variety, sounding together two different kinds of music so that children can distinguish.
7. Security: Avoid hiding toys in a place that is hard to find the child. Do not let toddlers must climb or turn something heavy when he was looking for. Difficulties can make children frustrated and lack confidence because they feel unable to.

Disney Avalanche Studios reportedly having a deadline in the middle of working on the game version of Toy Story 3. This game was ready to embrace all consoles.

As quoted from GameSpot, Wednesday (2/17/2010), Disney’s been confirmed that ‘Toy Story 3: The Video Game’ is being developed by Avalanche Studios. The making, planned for completion on June 15, 2010.

When finished, Toy Story 3: The game will be available almost all popular platforms such as: Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PSP, Wii, DS, and PC. Related to this, Disney does have a mission for consoles targeting high-end games that are popular.

Toy Story 3: The game still revolves around the same as wide-screen version. Difference, the console version features the ‘Toy Box’ mode. With this feature, players can create their own character’s story using a toy like the Cowboys, Rangers and dinosaurs space.

Look for natural objects. No need to object or expensive toys to collectible. All around the child is likely to find many interesting objects. While collecting, as well as offering books on shells. Toddlers also understand the history of the shells are collected. This well honed child naturalist intelligence.

Play objects floating and sinking to our toddler will add his/her understanding that there are different densities of objects. Floating and sinking toddler game can be done during bathing activities. Initially, he will be amazed, but at the time he will be knew its scientific explanation.

How to play:

• Fill the bathtub with warm water. Enter your toddler slowly into it.
• Enter one toy into the water and say, “Look at this floating duck!”
• After a few minutes, put things can sink. Say, “Look at this stone sink!”
• Give him a chance to observe and try to put other things that can sink or float. Every time the object sink or float, you say its characteristic – so your toddler could remember  it

After watching a movie or see the pictures of horses or pony we believe your toddler should be interested with this kind of animal.  She is fascinated but we bit wary if your toddler rides the real thing.  Give her a leg up on balance skills by playing the pony part yourself.

Get down on your hands and knees and let your toddler “ride” on your back or shoulders. Tell your toddler to have hang on tight and be ready to grab a leg if she starts sliding. To help her learn to adjust her balance, lower your upper body of the floor, raise it (not to high!), or wiggle from side to side.

The balance of your toddler is not fully developed even though most of the toddler with this focused age (two year old) can walk pretty well.   By pretending to be a pony horse and crawl and wiggle your way through the house, your toddler can be learning how to find and keep her center of gravity. Your toddler also learn and stretch her imagination by pretend that she is riding a pony horse. This skill spotlight hopefully can increase your toddler balance, gross motor skill, and imagination.
Other tips: Mom and dad may change the object of the ride with another animal such as buck, dashing steed, elephant, big bird, got, cow, etc. It is very nice if you can make a sound of the animal while your lovely toddler rides you.
