Have   your 3 years toddler begin to like to collect shells, stones or other natural object? Never mind, toddlers will be known and understand the unique things around him.

Play objects floating and sinking to our toddler will add his/her understanding that there are different densities of objects. Floating and sinking toddler game can be done during bathing activities. Initially, he will be amazed, but at the time he will be knew its scientific explanation.

• After a few minutes, put things can sink. Say, “Look at this stone sink!”
• Give him a chance to observe and try to put other things that can sink or float. Every time the object sink or float, you say its characteristic – so your toddler could remember  it

After watching a movie or see the pictures of horses or pony we believe your toddler should be interested with this kind of animal.  She is fascinated but we bit wary if your toddler rides the real thing.  Give her a leg up on balance skills by playing the pony part yourself.

Get down on your hands and knees and let your toddler “ride” on your back or shoulders. Tell your toddler to have hang on tight and be ready to grab a leg if she starts sliding. To help her learn to adjust her balance, lower your upper body of the floor, raise it (not to high!), or wiggle from side to side.

Your toddler also learn and stretch her imagination by pretend that she is riding a pony horse. This skill spotlight hopefully can increase your toddler balance, gross motor skill, and imagination.
Other tips: Mom and dad may change the object of the ride with another animal such as buck, dashing steed, elephant, big bird, got, cow, etc. It is very nice if you can make a sound of the animal while your lovely toddler rides you.

Itsy-Bitsy Spider

The itsy-bitsy spider went up the water spout, <<Walk your fingers up in the air>>

In this popular song, you can portray the trials of the hapless itsy-bitsy spider with fun-to-mimic hand motions. By repeating  the song and the gestures you are not only entertaining your toddler but also stimulating her listening and language skills.

Add tactile stimulation by crawling the spider up her tummy, “pouring” the rain down over her shoulders, and crossing her arms above her head to make the sun. When she seems proficient, try singing the song and cuing her to perform the finger movements-eventually she may surprise you with a solo.

Toddlers love puppets. Puppets seem to magically come to life. Your toddlers love them even more when you put on a live, slapstick show. Give your toddler some fancy puppets or just use brightly colored felt-tipped pens to draw a face on a sock or a bag.
