Introduce the color to your toddler is very easy. Today The Toddler Games would like to share the find and throw color balls game. This game needs five or more different color balls. We recommend using eye catching color balls. Here the steps to teach your toddler:

• Put five balls with different color in front of your toddler. The color of the balls could be red, green, blue, yellow, and black.
• Ask him to get the ball with red color and ask him to throw the ball to you.
• If he gets the right ball give him appreciation with say “Good boy – You pick the right red ball. Please throw the ball to mom.”
• If he gets the wrong ball tell him to try picks another one. You would say : “Ooow you got the wrong ball. It is the green ball not the red ball.” Ask him to keep trying to find the right ball and let him to throw it to you.
• Please repeat the activities until all balls thrown to you.
• It is your turn to pick the ball and throw it to your toddler.
• You put the ball and say it color. You may say “Look at Mom – I am taking the red ball”. After that you throw the ball while say “Please catch the red ball!”
• Please repeat the activities until all balls thrown to your toddler.

You can give this practice every day to your toddler. To increase your toddler skills to differentiate more color – you can try to add additional different color balls step by step.
