From the view of toddler age 2 years, everything can get sick, cry and need to be entertained. Not surprisingly, she often ‘bye’ with benches, a bike or a cat before she goes. Or a toddler dancing in front of a cat because she thinks she can entertain sad cat. What’s wrong with a toddler of 2 years?

This is called egocentric. At this age, toddler understands that objects can represent other objects. For example, a large cardboard pictured as a car. Ban swimming likened to the ship. Although it seems logical thinking ability is still very limited

Egocentric phase is seeing things from her perspective. She argues that the objects, animals and other people think and feel like what she thought and feels. For example, for fear of her doll crying when she was bathing, the toddler also said goodbye to her doll, “Do not cry I’m just a shower! Bye Elmo …”

Early childhood development was normal when experiencing this phase. The more often you interact with the toddler, the more vocabulary words she knows and she learned to treat the objects around it. Means you give her a lesson materials how she treats other people, even at the age of the next development occurred toward the better. For example, the ability to empathize.

Allow the toddler to undergo this stage, which is a progression of thought from the sensory to the preoperational stage. This increases the ability to play pretend. Playing pretend will improve speaking skills toddlers. The more skilled she spoke; it would be fun toddler as a friend to chat.

Playing puzzle has many benefits, namely, learning to solve problems and improve skills. Puzzles can help children learn to solve the problem by trying several ways to pair the pieces. Toddlers are trained to think creatively. Puzzle games also increase the persistence of children, in solving the problem, of course. Pairing the pieces of the puzzle help children to actively develop the ability to make a conclusion, understand the logic of causation and the idea that the whole object is actually composed of smaller parts.

When her tiny fingers must pair thin pieces, made of wood or cardboard plates, then the puzzle would improve fine motor skills. Puzzles can train toddler hands and eye coordination. They must match the puzzle pieces and compile them into one image. This game helps children recognize shapes and is an important step towards the development of reading skills.

Puzzle game developed by stages. Like the game of tower blocks, toddler ability to play this puzzle grows gradually. Toddler two years, for instance, interested in the puzzle activity with the end result beloved pet’s image. But of course, still a big puzzle with pieces consisting of 2-3 pieces.
As time goes, the more the number of pieces, and form increasingly small and complex. From puzzles children will also learn about colors and shapes. Knowledge gained from this way is usually more impressive to the child than the memorized knowledge. Toddler can also learn the basic concepts, animals, environment, other types of fruit and other alphabet. But of course must be with the help of the mother or others who accompanied him to play.

Toddle two years learning process is getting more mature. Not only rely on sensory absorption, the two years also involve mental processes, included in the familiar colors.

The process of learning to know the color has been started since infancy. At this age, the child’s visual development is complete. However, the introduction should be gradual.

For starters teach the child to know the basic colors. Red and yellow are the colors usually are recognizable child first. Only then he will recognize the blue and green, and then the colors are younger.

There are several ways for you to introduce these colors in your child:

First, let’s hold the two years, experienced, and manipulate objects of different colors. For example, you could introduce a red color while letting holding an apple, and so on.

Second, you can also introduce color through the clothing he was wearing. In this way, children not only could remember the color, but also can appreciate the colors well.

Third, teach toddlers singing songs of children associated with the color. You can while showing the pictures to suit the theme song, to make it easier for toddlers to remember.

Which is characteristic of the two years, he liked to refer to a color for a variety of other colors. At approximately 2.5 years of age, toddlers gradually begin to develop the ability to distinguish shades of color. He began to recognize the dark colors and pastels.

Exercise takes time to know the color, so you must be patient. Usually by the age of three years more advanced toddlers recognize colors.

But the development of the child’s ability to recognize and name the colors is really very dependent on his ability to speak and remember. And do not forget to give an answer true or demonstrably false as well, in order to learn more enthusiastic toddler.

by TheToddlerGames

Play sand game is a challenged activity for your toddler. In the previous story I share how the toddler is very enthusiastic play with sand. Play with sand gives different adventure and another outdoor experience for the toddler. Many parents realize that this kind of outdoor toddler games could give positive impact for their toddler development. Some of variations have been created to enliven this game. There is a build a sand castle, jump on the sand, crawl on the sand, dig and form, etc.

I have idea to make a variation by use car toy or other toy own by your toddler that can move on the sand. The toy car should have off road wheels and have enough strong power to crawl and move on the sand. It will be fund if you use remote control (R/C) type. I play with Tamiya Sand Scorcher cars to do this.

Many of toddlers love this toy. This toy came up with many models such as: Sand Scorcher 2010 2WD Off-Road Racer, 1/10 Toyota Land Cruiser 40 Kit, Lunch Box Kit (1/12), etc. This toy is very easy found at toy store or you can buy online at Amazon.com

First — together with your toddler build little sand circuit. You can ask him/her to make sand mounds to make this game more interesting.

After finish you put the car on the sand. Ask him to do this. Easily you move the car to another place and ask you toddler to catch it. After the toddler catch it, ask him to bring it to you. Repeat this activity game and add some accelerate to the car when your toddler tries to catch it. You toddler will be curious and will chasing it. Your toddler will be proud and glad when the car could not move it anymore because your toddler has caught it. Please don’t forget to give spontaneous applause for your toddler

The toddler games will help develop gross motorist skill

Some time when you are not at home with your lovely toddler, he is bored but you forgot to bring his toy. Relax, Mom or Dad you can uses your Blackberry to make the toddler happy and smile. Of course it is not for chatting or makes a call, but to play fun games. One of the games I recommend is Baby GO! This is the free Blackberry games application for toddler between 0 – 2 years old.

Your toddler should be cheerful and excited when he pushes the Blackberry keypad which show colorful block of character floating on the Blackberry screen.
