Let Toddler Feels Funny Feet

Walking barefoot is easier for your toddlers than walking with shoes because they can use they tiny toes to help with balance and let toddlers feel sensations in walking. And while the sensations of walking or running on unusual surfaces may make giggle, they’ll start to grasp the properties associated with different materials, as well as a few words to describe them.

Take advantage of they curiosity by removing they shoes and leading outside across a variety of textures, such as warm sand, smooth pebbles, cool concrete, wet grass, and gooey mud. As they get older, ask them what they feel as they walking. If they don’t know the words yet, suggest some: “warm”, “prickly”, or “soft”, for example.

This game advantage for your toddler‘s body awareness, language development, sensory exploration, and tactile discrimination.
